Also i'm sure you may know. Disable internet connection & remove/eject game disc if in Blu-ray drive before installing CFW.
So yeah you can safety, just upgrade & install Rogero CEX-4.55 v1.00 that's on USB stick. Without going back to 3.55.

huh?? Oh, sorry that quote was directed to LohayWesley for his CFW PS3.
If your PS3 console is on 4.60 OFW Sony (Official Firmware) then no sorry it won't jailbrake you PS3. You'll need a hardware flasher like E3 Flasher, progskeet or teensy 2.0++

Hello ngu I've got an issue that needs resolving. I am on 3.55 dex was on 4.50 ita but kept getting error when trying to install ita manager because gamesonic manager is very 2.12 I know I have to install gamesonic 3.0 but how do I do that from 3.55dex what should I do from here to install pkg files and have ita 4.50 up n running online

Cex is basic moding and dex is making rtm tools and stuff. Rogero is a certain type of cfw firmwares to use to jailbreak your system.ccapi is where you can use the modz from pc to ps3 wired or wireless.eboot dont worry about it untill you get into hacking. Rebug is like rogero.
