I know its possible on cfw but how about on ofw? Based on the thread below, full format isn't suffice to do the task and I dont want to downgrade my ps3 for cfw just to reset then back to ofw. i hope theres an other way for ofw users.

I did some research but all of them is on CFW:

A format should do this for you...

1. Boot Ps3 into recovery mode
2. Select option "restore Ps3 System"
This will format the hdd and wipe everything
When it is finished, you may be brought to a black screen, asking for your last syscall (last cfw installed)
3. Reinstall your firmware

By the way im using OFW.

anyway, i did your instruction until No. 2 and it solved my problem.

I checked on PARAMS on my save file, the user is 00001. not 00012 .
