you must have CFW installed i have kemaw installed.

rip the game disc to a hard drive, via your chosen backup manager and then plug in external hard drive to pc to modify the files or use FTP to access game files remotly from your ps3 if installed on internal HD.

follow this guide to modify the files (don't add spaces in STestFile2= and DATA/FALLOUT i just did that to stop smiley appearing) and download this file, for external hard drive users the game will be located in the "GAMEZ/BLES00901/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DATA" folder.

1. FTP into PS3
2. Navigate to /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30500/USRDIR or where your backup FO:NV game is
3. Grab Fallout.ini and download it to your PC
4. Rename the Fallout.ini in your PS3 to Fallout.bat
5. Upload your .ESP mods to the /DATA folder. Make sure the names of the mods are in all CAPS
6. Open the Fallout.ini on your computer and edit the STestFilex= fields to your mods. Mine looks like this:

7. Scroll down to sEssentialFileCacheListE= and add your mods to the list. Here's mine as an example of what it'd look like:

8. Save it, then upload your edited .ini into the USRDIR folder

Once you get the hang of it, adding new mods is pretty fast. Basically edit the Fallout.ini at the STestFile and sEssentialFileCacheListE fields, then upload the mod into the DATA folder.

once you have done all this eject your hard drive from windows or close your FTP client, load the game up on your ps3 and fast travel to doc's house in goodsprings.

i dont rip and play i download my game put it on my external hdd then op a backup manager launch the game and voila i can play

you need a costum firmware though or a jailbroken system

Nope as far as i know it doesn't work cause i used loads of other mods and they work fine for instance the XP mod :p

i used Rogero backup Manager v7.9 to rip from the disc.

it does 100% give me a chance to upload the files that i have on my ps3 and you can test it for yourself, lMarco666l i think the reason it didn't work for you is maybe because you download the game? i have the EU version of the game myself too maybe it's a region problem? anyways i will give you the files soon, btw i can't show the trophies on video because the trophies have been unlocked on my profile already.

put the FALLOUT.INI in the GAMEZ/BLES00901/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/
put the ACHIEVEMENTS.ESP in the GAMEZ/BLES00901/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DATA

for american ver of the game it's (BLUS30500)

make sure to backup your own original modified files before doing this because the FALLOUT.IN i have uploaded only contains the ACHIEVEMENTS.ESP mod, good luck i hope it works for you 2.

can u add lines to the stest like sTest11 or whatever for example and does the sEssentials have to be in order with your test files because i downloaded a shit load of mods all night and none of them worked i added another line up to stest21

so far it's confirmed that you can add up to 18 lines! i am not sure if you can add anymore though.

no my sEssentials is not in order i just copy and paste as i go, if you do try the achievement mod please report it here if it works or not, thanks.
