Yeah you do need cfw but you would need to back-up the game and edit another file to get 999 health, ammo and damage to all your guns.

Maybe I'm the only one, but when I tested both of these files on a dummy, they corrupted no matter what. Yes I do own all the DLC, so that is not the case.

I also noticed that when I downloaded the files, that the dates were from early 2009; wtf. Eek

When I tried just taking the whole save and putting it on my flash, then looking in Save Data folder on my PS3, it showed as corrupt data immediately (shows corrupted data, no real picture, no actual name, etc).

I could be wrong, but this seems like a trick that the OP used the correct .sfo and image, but maybe Dead Space 1, or regular files, named like Dead Space files? I don't ****ing know, just my two cents.

It's not the same game (or rather, not US version at least)

DS2 on PS3 is BLUS30624 but the folder here says BLES01040. And yeah, as you stated, the files are from more than two years ago.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I mainly just tried the files and didn't pay full attention to that, but yeah thats another general fact.

It still wouldn't explain why no matter what I did, it came corrupted. It could be of course argued that it is a region problem, but no other games that i've seen are affected by region, when using the FTP method. I dunno...

Well I guess that makes sense assuming you had the wrong date on your PS3 for a very long time, but regardless, I can't test an EU save. Hope someone else can test it.
