Post: How to still sync trophies...(2 PS3s req.)
02-09-2011, 12:41 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); -one ps3 is on ofw 3.56
-the other is on cfw 3.55
-both have your account you wanna sync trophies for

-now load the desired savegame on your cfw 3.55 and make it save ingame (ex. GT5)
-now it's considered your save
-copy this save via usb to your ofw 3.56
-load the save ingame (it will load because the sfo is overwritten for your account)
-trophies should pop and you can sync them

the same effect can be achieved by:
data transfer from the 3.55 to 3.56
upgrading the hdd via the backup restore

it won't work in these cases:
savegame is copyprotected (which you can remove with sfoedit; CONFIRM?)
savegame gets corrupted after load (ex. SSF4)

if you have a friend with a ofw 3.56 you can ask him to put your account on and use your saves to sync.

The game saves don't hold your trophy data and this will only work for games that are able to be exploited via game save hacks. Therefore this is pretty useless, sorry to put a downer on everything btw :black:

thats is not completly true...

some games work with this,,, some other dont.... no, never

like the GT5 oficial record trophy or the pictures trophies dont work and never will work with a save, even if the save is yours

and others will carried the data over your online ps3 like dead space 2 example The Engineer or Picking favorites trophies that will show upon load.

but history related dont show up.

but you can obtain certain trophies in a "hack" ps3 and other in your legal PS3 an when the dns trick become available again or when some ppl release a cfw 3.56 :mudkip: you can sync and maybe the platinum will be yours :420:

but is kinda useless /facepalm

stay off the PSN and wait.

or update ur firm

thats all of your choices.....

i was thinking that the ppl dont want online (meaning PSN) only want their backups working.... and now that you dont have online are crying for the PSN....

you don't get it.

the savegame will work on the 3.56 and will grant trophies when certain actions have been fulfilled.

No i do get it but your just doing the exact same thing as a regular trophy hack that you could jus download. It's just pointless to do it or you could just wait far a 3.56 or 3.60 cfw and then sync.

it expands to saves that do save ingame and don't get corrupted.
