Post: How to Sync trophies on 3.66 with Jailbroken ps3

Do a barrel roll!
You will need
1. Jailbroken ps3
2. Normal ps3
3. USB
4 Game Back up (Backed up Game)
5. The game on disk
So here we go
1. Go onto your jailbroken ps3 with rebug 3.55.2 and go to sign up to playstation network
2. Click Use current account (The one you want to do the hack on)
3. Once that's done, Dont sign in after it
4. Just continue with the FTP method as normal
5. Once hacked, just save the game somehow and it will overwite
6. The save will now no longer be broken, so copy to a usb
7 Insert usb into your 3.66 ps3 and go to the user with the account you hacked
8. Copy the save onto that user (notice it wont be corupt)
9. Proceed with the instructions (eg finish the last race)
10. The trophies should unlock and you can now sync
I know this works with GTA, LA Noire Super street fighter iv FIFA 11 and most likely others that have auto save

It will work less with kmeaw than rebug cause with rebug you have the option to turn on use of fake other save data which allows for use of the save to transfer ownership to you once you save ingame also it has less restriction to copy types of files that are usually copy prohibited. so you can save them to your legit ps3 again not all games work but several do. As far as im aware kmeaw has no such feature so it would be the same as transfering any regular data off off any other ps3. So no trophies would pop it would give the usual can't use data from another owner trophies disabled message, or data corrupt. From rebug this happens less often with that option turned on as it transfers the ownership to you unless of course it falls under the category of games that work without cfw hacks... its all alot of information but not very complicated really just look around this section abit you'll see what I mean YnO gives a similar post as to the instructions for this method which is much clearer.

still keep kmeaw but download 3.66 spoofer version 2 from rebug.me that way you can edit everything through FTP and datatransfer from 3.66 to 3.55 (spoofed to 3.66) and vice versa... even if your account was not on 3.55 it will be after datatransfer (not activated yet, so you'll have to avtivate it within act.dat to use your downloaded store content from your 3.66 console... Hope it helped you guys out a bit...

yo guys i got 2 ps3's and i wana be able to get my trophies on my legit ps3, so is data transfer better?, because im planning on going legit with my 250gig slim and cfw with my 80gig phat, and then using the phat to get trophies. So my question is whats the easiest way to do this?, i dont have my account on the phat ps3 i wana hack, and i want to use my slim as my legit ps3, can someone help me, and tell me what to do so i can transfer trophies to my legit and sync them without using the game( i lent all my games out when i hacked my slim and my friends live a nice trip away) Thanks if anyone helps me!

There is no way to do this without having the legit game trophies WILL NOT transfer via data transfer. Only your saves will. Data transfer being the best solution depends on your situation I prefer this method cause nothing on my cfw ps3 is the same as the stuff I wanna keep on my ofw ps3 and data transfer cleans the system your transfering too and replaces it with the data from the cfw system. So I prefer this method and I find it easier and takes far less time. But again without actually having the game its impossible to transfer trophies to your ofw ps3 or sync them right now. I know I have 5 platinums I got legit and actually had the games at one point now I don't and there is no way to get them. So again only the save files can be transfered and not all work once transfered only some. And as for trophies just keep getting them if you want them in the mean time im sure however long it might be we will eventually be able to sync them.... may take awhile though...

And yeah I can confirm this works with some games as the original poster said autosave games seem to work more often with the autosave save file than others. Again won't work with all games but should help with alot.

I get what your saying mate (read above) you made the process a bit easier for me I know about this though YnO posted a thread about the same thing awhile ago but his involved using 3 hdd's, I used data transfer, this is easier than both of those though I was unsure that coping the savedata to usb then going back to ofw ps3 would work... so thanks for that much.
