i beat zico regularly, for fun, my personal best time is 30.45...

the best advice i can give is keep it simple, use only 3 BR's, sideshift around 5 or 6 times, dont scrape the walls, dont use pilot assist, if you finish a clean, simple lap how i described you will get around 3.80...

its really easy, i can do it on the 2nd lap & make it R2S if its worth my while...

No problem mate with time, all trophies can be unlocked, but I have to admit that WipEout has got the hardest trophies of all the games I've played so far !
