this is done on Superhuman just before the final fight you will get a massge saying wow congratulation on completing the game on Superhuman something like that see what you get from this save.

i cant get this save to work. i am trying it like people say here. i think its because the save is EURO and i have the US version. i can only think that is the problem, but can anyone confirm that this save will only work with EURO version of the game? if so im screwed then. i would have to return it to gamestop, just bought it today. Please anyone let me know if its the problem. i even changed the game ID to the EURO version and that didnt work. which files o copy? i tried all, with and without param.sfo files, i even tried param and save game file both and even each one and i get error code 8001051C the data is corrupt when i try to copy it over to my ofw ps3.

WORKS.
I just tested this with a throwaway PSN account, and it worked for me. Popped the Brutal trophy, plus a bunch of other ones, as soon as I continued the campaign. I'm gonna play through the game on my real PSN account, enjoy the experience, and then use this to pop the Brutal trophy. I hate multiple playthroughs required for 100%'ing a game, so this is a great gamesave.
I am using Xploder on a OFW PS3 that has never been jailbroken. I'm also using a US copy, so I can confirm that the EU save works on a US game. Here's what I did. Hope it helps someone.
1) Booted into Resistance 3, first time ever. Started new game, let it create a new savegame. Quit out to XMB.
2) Copied the virgin R3 save onto my USB stick. There were two save entries created. Copied them both.
3) Plugged USB with the virgin R3 save into my computer. SHAkA's posted file also has two save entries. I copied everything except the .SFO file from SHAkA's gamesave onto my USB stick, overwriting my files.
4) In Xploder, two R3 saves show up in my USB list. I drag them over to the left into "My PS3 GameSaves", then drag them back from left to right back to the USB. This re-initializes the gamesaves for my PS3. (For more details, see You must login or register to view this content.)
5) Plug USB stick back into PS3. Copy the R3 saves from USB to the PS3 hard drive, overwriting.
6) I did get an error when trying to copy the 2nd save file. I just ignored it, and it worked anyway.
7) Boot up R3, choose "Continue Campaign", and the trophies will unlock immediately. I got: Brutal, Irresistible Force, Master Mechanic, Archivalist, Weaponsmith, and This is My Rifle.

thanks for your reply and VERY DETAILED but i see you are using xpolder. i do not have that. so does this mean i cannot do this because i need xploder? im going to do your steps minus xploder to see if it works. please let me know if this can be done without xploder. thanks again.

ok just tried it doing everything you said minus the xploder thing. didnt work, when i try to copy both folders i get that 8001051C error. what am i doing wrong?

Yes, this method works. Thanks! I did have to load the save a second time to get Brutal to pop. I already had the other trophies. And you must use Xploder to resign the saves.

This method does work. Xploder is required to resign the save to your profile or you can you Rebug firmware to sign it with the Fake Save Option method.
