Edit:

Just an update on the save. So I went and tried betting Claire Umbrella but nothing happened. Thought that was weird so I went to load game and the 1st slot is blank so I loaded it. Its the first Claire at the last door of her battle game but you still gotta kill the bandersnatches. Once you beat that then beat Claire Umbrella and you will get the trophy.

Any help on this? I did this exactly but did not get any trophy...

I don't know I've done it on 3 different accounts and its worked for me.
