Remember Uncharted 1 & 2 and how the save file had all the saves need for the platinum? What happened to doing that? Since Xploder has gotten popular you should start looking into doing something like that instead of posting your platinum save. Sure the platinum saves COULD help out but not that many trophies can be obtained though them. Xploder is a wonderful thing and were not using it as best we could. So if your reading this and you post saves here or have thought about it please try and make a save set instead of beating it then posting a save that might unlock 4 or 5 trophies at most. And no I'm not ranting. There was a group of us who just recently completed the Fallout New Vegas save set and have all the saves that are needed to get the platinum. I know some of you don't like posting things because of "leechers" and think you're not getting the credit you deserve but were a community here and we all should try and work together regardless of how many posts or how much rep you have. Sure some people might just use the save and not say thanks but there will be people who appreciate the hard work taken into this kinda thing. Exactly we need to get more people to start working together on these kind of things. The more people that we can get to work together will show other people and they will see all the hard work those users made and they might do the same thing and it will continue to grow into something awesome.

The whole "leecher bastards" thing drives me nuts.
I've pretty much had every save I have posted on here ripped off, but it doesn't matter really. The whole point of adding them here is to share our work, not worry about rep. It's really good seeing someone start a thread with a few saves and watching it grow in to a really good saveset, either through their own work or through the contribution of others. It's something that I'd like to see happen more and more.
What I would really like to see is a small sub-forum which mods can move these threads to once they reach 100%.. Encouraging people to start them and helping to organise the stuff here a little better.

I agree wholeheartedly. As a former avid and one of the original members of 360gamesaves back in the days, I was always determined to make nothing but savesets. Sure a save that enables you to unlock the hardest trophy is a great contribution, however savesets that include said trophies is just epic. Don't get me wrong, any save submitted for mere sharing with others is epic in itself, however savesets serve for more than one purpose. They can allow for more legit looking orders of unlocked trophies. That includes timestamps. Take fallout for example. You use one save to unlock a certain trophy and don't use next save that realistically would take days to earn after the one unlocked after a few days, or use that time to earn it yourself, and if you can't progress within the story but really want to see what happens next then the next save which is humbly provided by the uploader of the saveset is to your disposal to use. Or even if something bugged on you or something alike. Also, savesets can pretty much guarantee you would be able to unlock for that specific trophy because it hasn't been unlocked within that save.

I've only downloaded one saveset but have yet to use it because I want to see how much I can obtain on my own before I require any outside help or push sort to speak. But all the saves that everyone has uploaded I'm sure has helped many. Either way, any save uploaded is appreciated whether it unlocks a trophy or not. Sure, we all prefer the ones that do, but rest assure that any effort into contributing some way is much appreciated and looked at as a great thing.

Leechers are the ones the don't know where the "thanks/rep" buttons are.

Just for example... I posted up some MW3 saves to mediafire 4 weeks ago.
225 downloads... only 4 thanks.... that is leeching in my eyes.
4 people bothered to do anything to say thanks... what about the other 221?

Only fair for the poster in my opinion.
rep might mean nothing in the real world... but at NGU, it really is the only way to properly thank somebody for the work they put in.

i am not "Premium Member" because i do not donate mponey to a platform somewhere in the internet, where i didnt find anything like an adress WHERE nextgenupdate is be homed - somewhere in the world.
People should think about giving their psn ids or moneytransfer options with paypal or else for People- maybe even childrens which are underaged for them saves....im not stupid. and im not going to want to be stupid. what other people doing or not - i dont care. ok, youre somehow right with your Post that people do not earn teir " oh so wanted Reputation". Reputate erach other like you wanted, give saves away for money or else. i own more than 285 games LEGIT without Jailbreak because its my hobby and im worker since 12years in 1 concern. XPLODER is the right Programm to use for save-changing or how you called it "for leeching". i uploaded many gamesaves to Xploder online database, im not care if im not "reputated" but with your post which i have reading now a few minutes before, i think i open an internetpage, i will call it "trophy seller page" and i will upload there my very rare platinum trophys like "Afrika" or "Aquanauts holidays" and will be selling them not under a price of 60euro/ 65dollar. just the same price i have seen here many people who selling their mickey mouse "dead island paltinum" for selling here on nextgenupdate. so them people will see, how COOPERATION with save exchanging, give save away so other peoples can grind them or what else. i understand the point of you but im angry that you call other users "leechers". however, i am not "premium "member, a half year before it was able for me too to push or i was able to use a "thank you button" since an update or since a modification here on ngu or what the host was doing, there is no option for me to see a "thank you button" so that is why i use the "like"button.
i will continue uploading saves to xploder, even when other people say " oh you could earn reputation". i dont need reputation for my saveds - its more a shame that people are doing more time in front of their ps3 to think about how they could "hack" trophys. i have ps3 since 2006!!!!!!!!twothousandsix!!!!!!!! i payed 699euro for it WITHOUT any game for the 60gb go version of ps3. 2006 till 2010 - MY REPUTATION WAS TO EARN THEM TROPHYS LEGIT!!!!!!!!!! more than 12 Platinums Legit.
But since i know ngu, i think 25%of "how can i get more easy platinums with gamesaves from friends?" you see my point? i understand yours, but since many people here only hunting for "instant platinums" where is the "damn good player repution which a gamer normaly has?!
this is a thing people should think about, nolt about how to earn repution with hacking. hacking scene ok , hackers need reputation, but people: YOU ARE USING A PLAYSTATION, NOT A HACKSTATION!

i have forgotten.....i have changed here saves, 1 year before with a user who had "james bond - quantum of solace" gamesaves.
i added reputation to his ngu account or to his username how he told me that i have to do; when i was giving him the points, i dont know what it was exactly but i was giving him 10.000 something thingies as he told me i followed the steps, he became them points but i never became the save. this is reason too, why internet platforms like ngu with reputation system not work for "regular things" like changing something or do something.
my english is not so perfect. when sopmebody dont understand what i was writing, message me, i can do videocall or msn steam ts or or or or .....for explain my point of view to this.
