Remember Uncharted 1 & 2 and how the save file had all the saves need for the platinum? What happened to doing that? Since Xploder has gotten popular you should start looking into doing something like that instead of posting your platinum save. Sure the platinum saves COULD help out but not that many trophies can be obtained though them. Xploder is a wonderful thing and were not using it as best we could. So if your reading this and you post saves here or have thought about it please try and make a save set instead of beating it then posting a save that might unlock 4 or 5 trophies at most. And no I'm not ranting. There was a group of us who just recently completed the Fallout New Vegas save set and have all the saves that are needed to get the platinum. I know some of you don't like posting things because of "leechers" and think you're not getting the credit you deserve but were a community here and we all should try and work together regardless of how many posts or how much rep you have. Sure some people might just use the save and not say thanks but there will be people who appreciate the hard work taken into this kinda thing. Or people could post nothing? Just because saves are being posted doesn't mean that person is going to dedicate their time to save at a specific time so they have a chance of helping out X amount of people get X trophy. Maybe somebody is posting a platinum save per se...that doesn't mean they have even recently played said game; there is a possibility that this is the case, but they may simply be uploading a save from a game they played years ago. Sure, some people do have the dedication to go out of their way to help the community, but maybe some people simply play to play, and get trophies as a result? Would you rather have them post no save at all, or have the chance that their 100% save pops something or another? Don't take everything for granted; appreciate what you're given...

Here here well said, ive always thought links shouldnt be viewable by anyone with under 50 rep. Itd encourage people to actually establish reputation for themselves or get a better understanding of it as well as limiting functions of those minus rep trolls.

Thats now gonna work here, i like the idea a lot, in fact, we're doing this on another site. on NGU its not gonna work because everyone wants rep and groans about leechers.. What do you expect? it's free to get the saves so no need to give rep or anything..

I stopped here on NGU because of that. Now i'm making platinum save sets for a nice, dedicated community... I still think (especially TS) does a great job here.

You bring up a good point about trophys but you lost something in the translation of what he was trying to say. He was not talking about getting paid for game saves. Even though this is a hack site the truth is alot of the guys who are sharing the game saves with the high rep are the ones providing the platinums legit. How would you feel if you put the effort in for others, you platinum the game you copy the saves you upload them to a file sharing site and create a post on NGU and yet you who critisizes his post, takes his/my/another members save and posts them all over Xploder and you dont even know or bother to take the time to look for the thank button on your screen ? ah i c. look i dont told, 1 person says "them others whos loading my saves...". i say with it that all people who sais "them others which loading my saves..." should not call leechers. it dont came through i agree.
first its begins with"need more of this for that"and ends with"i need need more $ for it" this is what i try to say with it. it is the humans menthality which is growing with any profit he becomes for it.

Well you need to reach 50 posts to get the Thanks button to show up.
BUT.... the rep button is always there... even if the rep doesn't count against the users total (because their post count is too low)...
It still shows that they went to the trouble to say thanks.

But this is pretty much an indication of the state of the world in general.
We live in an era of entitlement...

Gets under my skin when you get the people with CFW systems, or legit plats, that go to the trouble of making these saves and posting them for everybody else... and the ones who benefit can't even push a button... let alone leave a post in the thread showing appreciation.

Heck... my 60gig jusy YLOD'd on me a month ago... the HDD was pooched.
The ONLY way I was able to retrieve even some of the copy righted saves, was to dowload them from here.
And you can bet on it, that I was appreciative.

when i look onto my "profile from ngu" and select the old posts where i had answered, you can see all my "1click thanks".
