Download + Install the retail update 1.06:

Replace the update.img located at (hdd0>game>BLES00229>USRDIR) with the one listed below
DONT load the game on 3.55, data transfer first then load :y:

You may want to make a note, a lot of times this script will NOT work if you don't sync your trophies first.

Sometimes it will work without syncing, sometimes it will stop giving you trophies mid-way through, just remember to sync when it does!

I think I'm still lost....how do you transfer over to OFW and/or what do I need to transfer over to OFW? I can't copy/transfer the Install Data...so do I transfer a save file or some sort? I'm still not understanding or missing something cause transfering save = other profile save so doesn't work and again, I can't transfer over install data nor have means to update a game via USB (at least, I don't know how to update a game over USB on OFW, nor know of a method to xfer Install Data from CFW to USB)

Can someone post a very detailed step-by-step becuase it appears that I'm misunderstanding something.

Only happens when your already have some GTA trophies on your account that are not synced (and when you Data Transfer you have to re-sync everything again)
I have had this problem in the past and my friend had this problem last night, syncing fixed it both times.

ON YOUR JAILBROKEN PS3 go to install package files and install the update.
Then run multiman or what ever file bowser you use ON YOUR JAILBROKEN Ps3 and go to Hdd0\game\BLES000299\USRDIR and overwrite the update.img with the one on your usb pen drive.
Data transfer to your ofw ps3,then play grand theft auto 4 install the game data enjoy your mods

its nothing to do with a gamesave, the instructions are clear

simply install the latest patch from PKG - then replace the update.img
transfer THEN play/install game data
