I have used no possession for this, i justed lured the other guys with the swords in front of the guy with the gun and let him shoot them.
This is the easiest method on mission 3 if the above does not work for you.

Got it, didn't see the guy with the gun at first, thanks. Still think possession is easier but meh.

That save was made by XxCOD5DEVILxX, i used it, it worked for me in the past.
The pistol must have a option to add explosive bullets with the dpad left or right.

Finally got Versatile to pop, first I followed:
