So here it is folks. I just finished capping all three factions to lvl 30 and have access to Prestige, but this is before actually doing it. I can't guarantee how it works, but test it out by winning a match with either Joker or Bane (they also get a slight amount for the over all XP). I've also already one with each faction on every map so possible trophies include
Killing Joke (play a match with Joker team)
Fallen Knight (play a match with Bane team)
Gotham All-Star (play a match in general)
Arsenal, Awesome (play with one of the guns already at level 9)
Tales of Gotham (win just once on any map)
Then finally go into loadouts, select Prestige and that should give you Legend
Again, these are untested. SO 50-50 shot if they'll work. If they do, it will save you countless hours and migraines of this horrid multiplayer.

Playing a single round with either faction should get the respected faction trophy to pop, along with weapon trophy. Winning the round will get you winning all factions on all four maps. Make sure you have gotten the trophies for maxing out Joke, Bane and over-all levels before Prestige, especially if you want your trophies to look legit. Once I get home I'll modify the OP to perhaps give more clear instructions, but I think some of the other users might be on to something about backing up their original saves for online and shared, deleting, starting a fresh one then using my save.

I tried deleting both Shared and Online saves, but the damn save still reverted back to my original. No idea how this is supposed to work. Maybe you got lucky, couldn't connect to the server temporarily and your new data got registered.
Edit: Guess what, I deleted my Online and Shared data AGAIN, then started the game without any saves. I STILL got my original Online file back. Definitely serverside, or there's a troll backup function in my non-deleted SP save.
Edit2: Deleted all 3 save files, started game, the original Online save still appeared. Can someone test if there are any save data in the game data folder? Little Big Planet did that, if you know what I'm saying. My net isn't the best, so redownloading the DLCs will take pretty long. There are 2 install data, one actually says "install data", the other just says Batman Arkham Origins. If someone can delete the 2nd one to test it out..

Hmm.. in trying to test this myself I'm running into the same problems a lot of you are having of it not registering. I loaded up a dummy account to get the three save files registered, quit out and deleted the online save and replaced it with my original but nothing shows up as far as the levels. The "good" news is that some have gotten it to work, but that doesn't solve the rash of inconsistencies that are going around with this.

just waiting on my copy of the game to arrive and then I will be definitely trying this out myself on a dummy account - obviously!!!
From what I'm reading, it appears that once you play - you're stats are saved server side. however, it's strange that they don't then update when using the OPs prestige save. Which is what I would imagine should happen.
I will report back If I find anything of relevance.
