I just want to give a big shout-out and THANK YOU to all of you guys on this thread who added to the conversation on making this process as easy as possible.

I unlock racing games for my son because he's autistic, and thinks if the car and track is in the menus he should be able to use it. I can't argue with that logic. I am a 44 year old dad who is also a gamer. I've had to teach myself game save modding (not console modding) and I've used Horizon, Modio, other resign/rehash programs like Party Buffalo, etc.

I have been trying for a few years to figure out how to use BruteForce and some of the PS3 mod tools out there. I have never had any success. But because of YOU GUYS HERE ON NGU, I have been able to let my son have Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6, with all of the cars and tracks unlocked. I have tried since GT5 and GT6 came out to figure out how to "hack" or resign saves, and never figured it out.

THIS THREAD RIGHT HERE, and a few others for GT5, finally gave me enough straight-forward info without judgement or shame or "you noob" commentary that I was able to figure it out finally!

Thanks a lot guys. I can't tell you how happy my son is to be able to have these games finally.

I really can't recall the last time, I've seen some kids screaming "you noob" here in the Gran Turismo Forums on NGU..
Sure, some people don't have the full knowledge to get to their goal all alone.. but I see a lot of people helping out (at least here in the GT6 part - I haven't checked the GT5 part for a long time)..

It's not this site I've experienced this, but other sites I suppose. Lots of people I've run across, asked questions, etc. who feel that their knowledge is sacred and want to keep it to themselves, so that I can "Learn the Hard Way" like they did? Lots of really good help on this site, though. I definitely will be keeping up with this site from now on.
