A lot of people are posting the same theories and mixing up the emblem with the COD4 one. The COD4 one, which is shown below is obtained through the Spectre IV challenge completion:

According to 402, this emblem is obtainable in the game without hacking or modding. Proof of him saying this is shown on his Twitter account as well as the pictures below:

So now that you all know what emblem we're looking for, here are some of the THEORIES that people have thought of and proven to be wrong. Also, no one has obtained this emblem without hacking the game.
THEORIES IN THE TRASH:

Complete all HIDDEN Challenges: Hackers have pretty much found all of the hidden challenges in the game and completed them. The game doesn't consist of many hidden challenges and even if it was a hidden challenge, then modded game lobbies would unlock every challenge despite it being hidden.
So there's the few theories many of us have gone through in order to get this emblem, and thus far, we're pretty much out of luck and ideas. Hackers have looked into the .csv (game codes) to find something that may stand out, and so far the only thing they found is the following:
"level 70 and pr_marksman_ak47_4"
You have to be level 70 to unlock the AK47, unfortunately the Marksmen challenge only goes upto 3 (III), which doesn't help us at all.
It also doesn't have anything to do with any of the DLC content as 402 said that the emblem was obtainable on the PS3 way before the first DLC came out.
Post any new theories you guys have. We're going to find out how to get this emblem!
Also, please refrain from posting theories that have already been proven wrong. We need NEW ones.

guys my buddy xxT-BAGGINxx Has in on the ps3,he says you need to complete EVREY challenge in mw2. (all titles) you need 5000 choppers with the stinger for example. but what he found very odd is that he needed 1000 stinger headshots aswell,that's not the easyest thing in the world. but he did it. you need 2500 kills with all primary weapons and secondary weapons. and you need 2500 kills with all secondary launchers such as the stinger,javelin,rpg-7 and at-4. also 1000 multi kills with them all. Ok lets just take the most logical approach, regardless of whatever someone has said. Hacker's are able to unlock it, but all challenges complete etc does not unlock it. Multiplayer is seperate from everything, so that rules out campaign and spec ops. I already know what I'm going to get to from here, but i'll take you on a ride. Clearly the data is in the game, for a matter of fact, it's just an image which is in the disc. There is no such thing as a marksmen IV challenge, so lets move on and come to a decision that is inevitable. Without hacking the game, you can't get the spinning embelem unless IW "unlock" it for us.
I come with this because this is similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Games, where in those games you can use a cheat device to have all cards including the Egyptian God Cards. Now the only way to get these cards was first cheat codes. The game offered a free card as "DLC" every week. Then came the egyptian god cards which you could get legitimately by "downloading it" which infact just unlocked it.
If there is a way we would have found it, but we can't. IW knows that you can't get it normally and have made us go on a goose chase. I think it's time that they finally talked. Most games have "dead" content still lying in games, like Halo 3 where there was one medal when you blow up vehicles but could not be programmed to come up.

Hey there, my Favorite hobbies are making bullshit lies and claiming that headshots with the Stinger are possible. We should totally have babies.

Even if it was possible to get it legit, everyone would think you hacked for it. Even if your the best out of 20 million people and have that emblem everyone would think that you hacked for it...

Yes that's why I said regardless of what someone said, also 402 just said yes because at some random time he asked the team and they said at that time the emblem was in the game. He said he would ask the MP team about it but we haven't had anything from him.
I believe this is just one of does "dead files" that games just often happen to have :cry:, regardless of what 402 says. Unless he comes straight out.
