They HAVE to provide witha fix, either a new ps3 or slims. If they dotn, theyl losw much more money. Since the clcok was faulty when the ps3 was bought, it means that sony sold a faulty product, in fact sayign that they scammed us.

No I somehow doubt Sony would do this on purpose as it has ruined there reputation and now ps3 users are getting the shit ripped out of them all over the internet by xbox users who think there elite for having a console that lasts 3 months.

Sony = FAIL! At the minute

Honestly this is rediculous to think. You think a company that has built its name and reputation on quality electronics has somehow decided to piss off tens of millions of people, to get maybe 1/3 of them to buy a newer console. Grow up people. Use some common sense, and think about things rationally. I have owened playstations since they first came out and have only had 1 issue in that whole time. I replaced my 80gb fatty with a slim while it was getting fixed about 6 months ago. Now I have both and use both since my fatty is backward compatible. Immaturity and not having the ability to get what you want right when you want it spurs all these stupid discussions about sueing Sony and its on purpose. Not trying to flame anyone, just trying to help you grow up.

well when my blueray drive failed on my phat 40gb ps3 i sent it to sony and they gave me an 80gb one so we could get a slim as a replacement
