Damn right, not even Fallout, which is SUPPOSED to be better (which it isn't) can't even compare to the amount of freedom in The Elder Scrolls. In Fallout can you join a guild of thieves? Fallout is more of a game where you escape out of a metallic hole filled with crazy, into an open world where you just trapse around and around until you find something or somewhere, you get a quest, then you keep trapsing around not knowing where to go or what to do. But The Elder Scrolls is filled to the brim full of things to keep you occupied, but will reward you aswell, and everything intervenes with the main plot of the story. What people think of you is based on your Fame or Infamy. It is so ingeneus and it is amazing.
But there is one thing that would really disappoint me if they didn't include it in a new Elder Scrolls. I want another Adoring Fan that I can kill if he gets on my nerves!

A thing that is additionally funny is that the Adoring Fan looks like one of my school friends!
Ah, yes, the adoring fan. I think it would be nice, especially in a remake of Arena, if actually crowds of fans would originate as you become better and better. Not just random crowds with no relevance, but crowds with characters in which follow you, and that you can actually talk to, unlike many games where the characters are merely there, but are better than talking to the wall.
I think it would add a new aspect of realism to the gaming world.
Speaking of which, that is the thing that makes Elder Scrolls so unique: Their ability to create realistic human behaviors in a non-human world.
Most of all, though, I'd like a new enemy. Whereas the daedric are amusing, I'm becoming rather sick of them, as they are the primary enemy in both Morrowind and Oblivion. I believe it is time for the rise of a new enemy.
Perhaps, if the setting were to be in the Black Marsh, you would take the side of the Argonians in overthrowing their slave-owners?
If you know enough about the history of Tamriel, there really are endless possibilities for games.
