(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); this is just me thinking this but have you noticed in all the videos not one of them shows a backup game having a patch being used, is it using the patch already on the system or if you have not got the patch does it play without one.

what im saying is if you rent the disc copy it will it say you need a patch for this game to work? it might do it might not i think it will this is just something that popped into my mind a few moments ago.

It's mentioned that a backup'ed game can play online without the need for a patch but I guess you can't play with others on a different patch. Should make bypassing MW2 much easier.

Well if shit loads of people end up playing backups, I suppose that if no one ever has the original disc to obtain the patch, they could always play online without it, and since there would be many people doing it, it wouldn't be entirely impossible to play online.
