If anyony is able to give me a way to get the game out of the system so I can play it when I buy my new PS3, it would be much appreciated. +rep to the guy that can give me an easy method that works.

If you are out of warranty, take it apart. The worst thing that could happen if you follow a video tutorial is lose one of the small parts...which should be easy to replace.

If you are in warranty, I still don't recommend shipping it to Sony because you won't have it back for quite some time. People say not to open up the PS3 yourself because "itz two danejerus!!1@!" when it actually is really simple. Just remove some screws, unplug some cables, lift some parts gently and you are looking at the disc.

either open it up or say **** it and buy a new mw2 when u buy a new ps3

Ha I wouldn't waste the moeny on a new Modern Warcrap 2, I only play it to go on and screw around every now and then.
