so what happens is I start up my ps3 everything is fine I put in a disk the ps3 reads the disk so it will say Modern Warfare 2

but when I click it to go play it, it loads up and then its just to a Black Screen and it just stays like that

but there is 1 game that is different when I put in Resistance Fall Of Man it loads up perfect but say I want to quit the game to go back to XMB it goes to Black Screen after I click Quit Game

is there anything that you guys could suggest that will solve this problem

is it the Blue Ray Player? IM not sure because it reads the disk but just doesn't start

is ur hdmi cableplugged in all da wayz?

Yeah I have this problem aswell for some reason.When I put in mw2 everything is fine but after clicking on it black screen and nothing comes.Heres a solution: Switch off your ps3 when u get the black screen and turn it on again and it should work.If not repeat the step again.Works for me when I try it.
