when i did it i went to the next prestige but 1 instead of 65. what can i do to go back to 65 again? ooh by the way i try the usb way but when i load it back to the ps3 i still get level 1.. i haven't play since this happen.hopefully some one give me a good answer.

try this maybe it work for you.
after you disconnect the Ethernet cable that say "no network connection detected" press x to exit.
after that turn of ps3 (front)
connect Ethernet back on.
wait about 10 seconds.
turn ps3 on.
load the game.
done.

it isnt to do with your ps3! it worked on one of my accounts, but then didnt work on another on the same console!
