I just tried two methods and it's not working...
I did the original way (Pulling the ethernet) and below:
1. click Prestige, then go onto prestige,
2. you should be level 1, now go to baracks and click leaderborads > service report
3. unplug your ethernet cable or if using wireless press the ps button, go to acc maanagement > hit triangle and click sign out
4. turn off your ps3
5. you should now be up a presige, if level 1 go into a game and then leave, and youll be up a prestige.

thats not the right way.. go look on youtube
