i did it on 4/1

my accounts linked with cod.com and it worked first time haha, i glitched upto 6th prestige done 7th proper then glitched upto 9th 65 so i ahd more playing time and currently doing the same with my 2nd account for ffun lol

cant do it but gunna try AGAIN when im 65 again

does the glitch work on xbox 360?

i did the glitch only have like 10 hours played and they didn't reset my accounts i did the glitch about a month ago

im pretty sure the glitch wasn't that known a month ago but well see how treyarch handles it.

the glitch works even if your account is linked with cod.com.

but its good to stay safe tho, i mean treyarch isnt stupid 1 day of playing and your at your last prestige and level 65. i have played it for 2 days and 17 hours. im trying to make it at least 5 or 7 days.

there is lots of speculation and questions being asked about these two glitches so I have decided on my own back to start one simple thread on both glitches.

Tutorials for Prestige Glitches:

Ethernet:

1.Make sure your level 65 (obviusly) and go to prestige in barracks.

2. Carry on until you see the words 'enter prestige'

3. Press enter prestige then count to two second and quickly pull out your ethernet

4. Hold down the touch power icon on the front of the ps3 until the LED turns red

5. Power your ps3 back up and enter call of duty 5. You should now be at level 65. If you have gone to level 1, then enter a new match and quit. you should now be at 65. If you have stayed at 65 of your previus prestige, then either try again or possibly you have an unlucky account. If so, either prestige normally, stay on your prestige or prestige and do the perk glitch which i will be giving a tutorial on further down the page.

Wireless:

1.Make sure your level 65 (obviusly) and go to prestige in barracks.

2. Carry on until you see the words 'enter prestige'

3. Press enter prestige then count to two second and press your home button, go to account management, press triangle and then sign out. ( to have this ready, pre prepare by pressing home before and making sure account management is highlighted

4. Hold down the touch power icon on the front of the ps3 until the LED turns red

5. Power your ps3 back up and enter call of duty 5. You should now be at level 65. If you have gone to level 1, then enter a new match and quit. you should now be at 65. If you have stayed at 65 of your previus prestige, then either try again or possibly you have an unlucky account. If so, either prestige normally, stay on your prestige or prestige and do the perk glitch which i will be giving a tutorial on further down the page.



Tutorials for Perk glitch:

Option 1:

1. make sure you are quite a low level

2. Make sure you have roughly 100 points left, or an amount which you can achieve before the end of a match.

3. Go into your match and level up.

4. As soon as the level up words come up on the screen, quickly pull out your ethernet cable.

5. Plug it back in, go into a match, and finish it this time, making sure you leveled up.

6. Quit call of duty 5 and start it again

7. Go into a match and red writing should appear, now just quit this match.

8. You should now have all perks and guns when you enter create a class.


Option 2:

If your prestige glitch does not work then dont worryy!!!!

1. Follow the steps from my 1st tutorial and you should still be level 65.
2. Prestige normally and you should have kept all your perks and classes.
