I tried this twice on my 360 last night but it always left me at the same Rank. Im just plain old rank 65, no prestige. Do i have to have at least one prestige?
This is exactly what i did:
1: Enter prestige
2: waited 2 seconds
3: UNplugged ethernet cable.
4: Shut off 360
5: Plugged ethernet back in
6:Turned 360 back on
Help Pl0x?

I cant be sure about you getting suspended but im pretty sure your attatchments wont work unless you do 10th yourself.

i think its unplugg then count to 2 and turn off, i believe

On Xbox 360, I tried this with my account. it didn't work. i tried it when i was at 5th prestige going to 6th. everytime it would just go back to what it was before. i tried both wire and wireless. nothing worked for me. also i tryed the weapon glitch or whatever its called. that didn't work either. after about a hour or 2 of messing with this junk. i said hell with it. didn't work for me. however i have seen players who have the red text and have done it. might just me my account or there is an extra step.

Enter prestige count 1, 2 do home on ps3 controller click sign out then turn off ps3
I haven't yet checked if it's worked at I'm only lv 46 5th prestige, but I will def try it when I'm 65.
