Post: Kill Switch Maybe Real!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This morning (15/1/11 UK), some one got YLOD (Yellow Light Of Death) and he had JailBroken his PS3, im not sure if this is just a coincidence, (most likely is), however the owner of the PS3 said that his PS3 would NOT turn on. So, this is either a HUGE coincidence, or the Kill Switch may prove to be real.

And say you buy a gun. Does that mean that cos you bought it you can do whatever you want with it? Like shoot and kill people?

thats a very bad analogy..there actually ARE laws against that too.

Not really. The ToS are a contract you agree to. The contract has legal things behind it. Meaning that technically it ties in with the law.

Terms of service aren't part ofthe law, they are simply a stating of the rules and what they can do

*sigh*. It's hard to explain myself to 13 year old kids. It's obvious that Sony have some grounds to take Geohot to court. It doesn't matter what you find or don't. You're not a lawyer so you're wrong. You can't just take people to court willy nilly over violating rules no matter who you are. They have legal grounds to do it. End of the ****ing thread.

If you break TOS, they the legal rights to take you to court over this
