So Sony is attempting to sue GeoHot, (I'm not sure how this is all going, some one give me updates if you wish). So ok there trying to sue him for a fair bit of money, but if GeoHot wins this court case and CFW is possibly maybe allowed? :angel: Then all of the consles sony has banned would have to be reactivated some how, or they would have to issue new ones. Now i don't think sony could deal with like 1million angry customers. :FU::FU:

How ever, if sony does sue GeoHot i predict that were ****ed

what i dont understand is that the will ban ps3 cfw but if u update u wont have ps3 cfw on??
and if they do they will lose so many costumer and will have so many complains because i think they dont have the right to block my personal account with my own stuff what i pay for that is why i pay for psn games and addons.

they should just make it save to piracy.

Whether Geo wins or loses Sony will still have the right to ban you from THEIR servers for having a custom firmware. All the court case will decide is whether or not they are able to take legal action on anyone else who releases stuff. Your on Sonys servers they can kick you off them as they please. They will make it as hard as they possible can to stop people being on PSN with software other than their own. I'd expect a new firmware release before the month is out (once they have earned a few million from PSN store sales)
