Edit: Apparently if you update from CFW it will take away the feature to update via usb however, if you update to 3.50 official then update to 3.56, it wont take it away.

So its TOTALLY safe to update WITH cfw!? The only thing that will happen is that youre not able to use homebrew and stuff right?

You wont be able to use the well known hombrew, such as ftp or blackbox, or install any more custom firmware.
