lol lets put this like that.
Lets say you are the owner of a farm that sells orange, and you work really hard to get those oranges, and pay to your workers to get it. Someone (a thief) has a trick (machine) to get 500 oranges in 10mins, while you get 500 in 1 hour, and he goes to your farm and steal half of your oranges every night to give it for free. What are you gonna do? Are you gonna be happy 'that you will even hire that person' or are you gonna sue him? you will be angry because you're losing money because some retarded is giving your oranges for free, and you that are working really hard is getting nothing...
or lets make this even more simple. A person here on NGU scam you, what are you gonna do? be his best friend just because he got the skills to scam u? or be ****ed up and tell the admins to ban him?

I don't understand how that analogy works for this. The thing is Sony could easily hire him, doing so he could prevent them from getting another system hacked. Sony doesn't care about their rep we all know this.
Back to your analogy, your farmer could hire the person who is making all the oranges in 10 min. Thus making more money.
