(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I highly doubt that someone from Sony will actually read this, but ill try anyways. I have been a major supporter of Sony for a long time. You have amazing products and I thank you for putting them out for us. Recently I have been highly disappointed with the PS3.*

First you all removed OtherOS which I can completely understand it was a security issue. Hackers were getting to close the the hypervisor.*

The 26th of this month you released 3.56 I am HIGHLY disappointed with this. 3.56 disabled us from upgrading our hard drives. Now did you do this maybe to get more people to use the Cloud? I really don't know. I was going to purchase a 360GB hard drive to upgrade but now I can't.*

To me it seems as if you don't care about your customers, and I am saddened by this. It is literally making me consider buying a Xbox 360, and I HATE the 360.*

Hopefully you can do something with the 3.60 firmware. I doubt you will tho.*

Someone you all know at Sony recently said this and I stand by it,
"It's apparent you don't care about your reputation with consumers, and I can almost understand your point there.
Few people consider buying a TV or laptop a moral choice, and the consumer base is quite large.
But talented developers are in much shorter supply, and take it from one personally, who you choose to code for is much more of a moral choice.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.
And they will remember."

Please Sony get it right before you lose everyone who supports the PS3.(me)

I was sorry to hear of the difficulties that you have experienced with your PlayStation 3.

We are aware of the issue that you have reported and we expect to release a patch to rectify the fault as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

In order to temporarily resolve the issue you are experiencing, please remove the upgraded HDD and replace it with the original HDD. Once the original HDD is in the PlayStation 3, update the system as normal. You can then replace the HDD with the upgraded HDD.

Should you need further assistance, please call PlayStation Support on 0844 736 0595, quoting your reference number: 2386214, where a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Our operating hours are 8am - 10pm Monday to Friday, 10am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
