Post: What is this cord called?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU, I seem to have misplaced this little cord that is essential for my ps3 to power on. This is to my 3.55 Ps3, which is very aggravating because i can't test my custom patches that i've made. If this picture worked than the cord on the left looks almost identical to the cord i need. But it has one more wire on. The picture on the right indicates where the cord plugs in at. My question is... What is the cord called?

The only cord that will affect the ps3 causing it to not turn on would be the power cord.

My ps3 will not turn on without it. I know this for a fact. I've spent hours trying to figure out why it wouldn't turn on, find out that when i plug this cord in, i can power it on. with out it, the red light, indicating that its on stand by, wont light up, and the power won't work. Idk, maybe in the slim model, but this is from the phat model.

It is not the main power cord that plugs into the back of the machine, it is located inside of it casing.

There is a switch at the back, make sure that it is turned on...
