This is to my 3.55 Ps3, which is very aggravating because i can't test my custom patches that i've made. If this picture worked than the cord on the left looks almost identical to the cord i need. But it has one more wire on. The picture on the right indicates where the cord plugs in at. My question is... What is the cord called?

can't remember the name. but those are also found in xbox also. So if you have a friend with a broke one, there is some that so to the dvd drives in them.

um,fail. their are many sets of cords runnign from the motherboard that relay to other circuits, that are used to power on the ps3. without them, ps3 doesnt turn on. its not a system where you can go from hard drive to power cord. not that simple. derp derp.

Well why the hell would someone open up their playstation and just pull out a cord? derp derp.

ACTUALLY i opend up to repair my blu ray mech. and i also added another cooling fan. Did i mention i have two other ps3's? GoML.
