There have been add-ons and etc.. to these as we all know but let's to get to the discussion below.



In this thread there will be a poll on which Game do you think was most successful/the one you liked the most.
I end up in the category of Starting to play the "Cod" Series was in World at War and in Cod4. I remember when those we 2 great games that were out. Always when I got home I use to Jump on Cod4 and W@W.

I know we all had great times if you ever played those call of duty games above but in the real fact look who started it all. Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Infinity ward knew what the customers wanted and so they got down to business and produced us the "Cod" Series for gamers.

After playing legit for awhile in those games but there was a nudge and we call those people the Modders and Hackers. I have no biggie with them at all. I can see why they do it because playing a legit game over and over can get boring so they decide to change it up a bit. It's fun when you get to see what you can actually do and make. It's only when they start to effect you in a negative way. Then the producers got smart and decided to patch lot's of things once they got big. That brings me to a question. What first mods do you guys remember? I remember doing the Cod4 Mods with the Usb and even the Ufo Hack. Then I can not forget the World at war mods via transfer cable with Hex Editor. I would like to see what you guy's have to say about all of this.


Then came the glitches and tricks and yes bring on the glitches and tricks. The old Cod4 bounces, Even the Elevators that people found. Those can get you out of the map. Just tricks even that would give you something to do.

I would like to hear all of your opinions on what you want to say. I loved all of these games and everything you could do with them but then here comes CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS. I'm not saying this is a bad game but seriously there is something wrong with it. I use to have that urge to play all the other Cod's up to this one. Black Ops does that have that feeling like the others did. These is like a joke to me this game. It's like they put it together real quick. What makes me mad is what they added to it before looking into other things. I mean really come on a "Report" Button? Wtf is that? They could have improved the graphics much more but no we have to put in a report button and features to ban people forever form this game. I thought at first this would be a great game but it is just not the same it is like a was expecting something bigger and better.

There is lot's more things that I can rant on about but I just wanted to get some things out there about the Series and see what is it like to you guy's?

World at war for many reasons.

What got me Into call of duty wasn't a call of duty game.. It was a Korea. Game called special force and it's alooooooot better then any cod... But then they made it so u needed a Korean social security to play so I had to quit.. They I bought Call of Duty 4 and that's when my addiction started

COD MOD Warfare Best ever.

World at War was my first CoD I used online but I had CoD4 back in 07 er 08, I forget when it was released lol.
Now call of duty turned into a poo that wont flush as someone else stated.

Well I agree with you, but I have to say that those were things that ruined COD for ever, COD is not about skills anymore, it is about perks, weapons, and killstreaks you choose. COD4 was so simple thats why it was only based on skills, not too many killstreaks, perks etc. (you could only choose 3 perks, now in mw2 and BO you can choose 6 with pro perks which gives you more power) In mw2 you can destroy the opponent with a 5 7 11 killstreak. As I said, after W@W all COD are based on what you take believe or not.

And regarding the things you've said, about that mw2 brought a lot of new things like emblems and selected killstreaks, well if go with that COD4 brought more, that it was the first Modern COD, but it brought perks etc... =D

So in conclusion, for me. COD4 has the best prestiges ever i remember when i first got to 10th prestige, weapons (snipers, Mp5, P90, AK47, M16, Shotgun, and so on, not only 2 weapons like mw2 etc) best maps because of its environment etc and people can't camp too much, and lot of things that are superior to other CODs

I'd say that CoD4 is what got me into the frachise but it was easily MW2 that really got me hooked on CoD. I played that game for so long throught the whole of the year it was the newest CoD and even though I'd say CoD4 was my favourite and the best MW2 really got me into being a good CoD player.

i have been playing cod since the start of cod 4 and had a hard time choosing between cod 4 and mw2 in this poll.
I decided to choose for mw2. Now I know there's a lot wrong with this game but just thinking about how mch fun I had with this game made me decide to choose for it. So much stuff to do in it. All the titles and emblems and the winning killcam. I was incredibly addicted to it. As for black ops I just get plain bored after playing a few games, i dont know why or how it just really bores me.

i feel they try to make the games too easy for begginners
