There have been add-ons and etc.. to these as we all know but let's to get to the discussion below.

Discussion

In this thread there will be a poll on which Game do you think was most successful/the one you liked the most.
I end up in the category of Starting to play the "Cod" Series was in World at War and in Cod4. I remember when those we 2 great games that were out. Always when I got home I use to Jump on Cod4 and W@W.

I know we all had great times if you ever played those call of duty games above but in the real fact look who started it all. Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Infinity ward knew what the customers wanted and so they got down to business and produced us the "Cod" Series for gamers.

After playing legit for awhile in those games but there was a nudge and we call those people the Modders and Hackers. I have no biggie with them at all. I can see why they do it because playing a legit game over and over can get boring so they decide to change it up a bit. It's fun when you get to see what you can actually do and make. It's only when they start to effect you in a negative way. Then the producers got smart and decided to patch lot's of things once they got big. That brings me to a question. What first mods do you guys remember? I remember doing the Cod4 Mods with the Usb and even the Ufo Hack. Then I can not forget the World at war mods via transfer cable with Hex Editor. I would like to see what you guy's have to say about all of this.

Then came the glitches and tricks and yes bring on the glitches and tricks. The old Cod4 bounces, Even the Elevators that people found. Those can get you out of the map. Just tricks even that would give you something to do.

I would like to hear all of your opinions on what you want to say. I loved all of these games and everything you could do with them but then here comes CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS. I'm not saying this is a bad game but seriously there is something wrong with it. I use to have that urge to play all the other Cod's up to this one. Black Ops does that have that feeling like the others did. These is like a joke to me this game. It's like they put it together real quick. What makes me mad is what they added to it before looking into other things. I mean really come on a "Report" Button? Wtf is that? They could have improved the graphics much more but no we have to put in a report button and features to ban people forever form this game. I thought at first this would be a great game but it is just not the same it is like a was expecting something bigger and better.

There is lot's more things that I can rant on about but I just wanted to get some things out there about the Series and see what is it like to you guy's?

All discussion is open for you to post it. I hope this thread means something to you. Much appreciation.

CoD WaW Map Pack 2 got me into CoD. I bought WaW around the time of Map pack 2. It then lead me to CoD 4. CoD4 is IMO the best Call of Duty. I own a copy of CoD 2 to Black Ops

Do a barrel roll!
Call of Duty 4 just had so much simplicity to it, not so complex that everything was overwhelming. There was so much balance, and so much fun.

I'm really going to have to say it is Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The reasons are that it brought a lot of firsts into the call of duty series. Many users don't think of this when they pick a game but MW2 had a lot of things that it brought and was truly pretty revolutionary. First off, it brought user selected kill streaks for the first time! Players could now select their own kill streak! I thought this was amazing and had a bunch of fun with this. Secondly, we could now select our own titles and emblems! This was one of the most fun things of the game! It gave players a reason to want to go out and get their challenges done. It made me spent many many hours playing the game in order to unlock emblems. Another thing this game brought was new attachments, and it brought new camos for the guns. Honestly I can admit I liked the camos so much I spent a lot of time boosting for them in cage match. Even though this game had it's downs and made me rage 24/7 I still will admit it was pretty damn good.

Call Of Duty World At War brought one thing that is really brilliant, zombies! Zombies was an awesome idea and the reason I bought the game. This is actually so popular it's still around now. This would be in number 2 in my list.

Cod4, well what can I say about this one? It was one of the first online first person shooters. It [s]was[/s] is a good game for being one of the first released. It brought multiplayer to FPS games. This would be third :p

Well now down to the latest COD game, Black Ops. This game is just not as addicting as the past games. First off it takes COD Points to unlock things like attachments guns and camos, you don't need to get a certain amount of head shots or kills to unlock these so it made the game less addicting a huge mistake on Treyarchs side. Now to the real reason I bought the game, the return of zombies! The zombies in this game is awesome the only thing I don't like about it is that the ammo runs out so fast  Other than that the maps are interesting and I'm anticipating the release of the new maps for ps3.

Damn took some time to type that all up  Well that's my opinions on things Winky Winky

COD4 was not the FPS to be made lol, your like 10-12 years late =D
