Sony S1 Playstation Android Honeycomb tablet release date and price rumors

Engadget, the first to break with rumors of the Sony S1 Honeycomb tablet, has updated their story to give more details on the upcoming gaming tablet. According to their source, the dual-core Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet has a slated release date of sometime in September 2011 and will come with a price tag of $599, approximately $100 more than the iPad WiFi-only model.

While there isn't a lot of information on the tablet, the source dubs it as "the best thing" they have ever seen from Sony. And from the details, we're thinking it will resemble the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone in more ways than one.

Nevertheless, it looks like Sony is slowly building an ecosystem of Android gaming devices. More on this as it develops.

Lol, typo. Paid service is what I meant. Qriocity is like VidZone but it's much more better. You can choose a wide range of songs in that application once you install and pay for that service.
