I've never sent anything in to sony so i don't know if they replace the console or just repair the problem

Just say problems that they probably cant fix
in example say the volume lowers and changes alot but its not my tv
the screen goes blank alot , cables are connected
The ps3 makes alot of noise.
and since you have warranty
you can just say I don't want it anymore. and get cash back<3

BUT they cant send you an Banned Ps3 back as far as i know

1]put it in 3-4 towels
2]put the toweld ps3 in a box while its on
3]wait 3-4 days.
4]it should have fried insides
5]send to sony.
