What Sony did was now Require your console to be on system version 3.56 or higher.

Im pretty sure sony has done this to further stop CFW users from accessing PSN based content.

Im sure someone will find a bypass around this quickly, but for now it looks like 3.55 CFW users wont be able to access Netflix.

Free 30 day trial, but yes you must have a monthly subscription.

So for people like me on CFW 3.55 and have a netflix subscription, it sucks because i cant access my netflix and watch movies now

Wow, I'm glad I updated. I thought there would be a bypass the first week of the update, but here we are, almost a month now and nothing. Smart of Sony to block Netflix. I know I would've updated now if I hadn't already.

I don't know guys, if I were you, I'd update. The longer you wait, the more stuff you will lose. You're better off just hoping for a CFW for 3.56. (In my opinion)

What are you talking about. We have BEEN back on PSN with 3.55. Also we have BEEN on netflix this entire time with 3.55, until just today with this new update.
Now netflix does some sort of version check and only lets 3.56 users launch the Netflix app from the XMB.
The NGU devs/community are not "back-downs" we will be back on netflix very soon just like we are back on PSN.
