What Sony did was now Require your console to be on system version 3.56 or higher.
Im pretty sure sony has done this to further stop CFW users from accessing PSN based content.
Im sure someone will find a bypass around this quickly, but for now it looks like 3.55 CFW users wont be able to access Netflix.

Oh, that's right. I just updated because of everyone being banned x)
Well I only used the CFW for MW2 lobbies, and if I continued to do so, I would probably be banned. I heard MW2 is going to come out with an update too, to further stop people. I'm sure that will have a bypass too, but is it even worth it? Now I'm not sure what you use the CFW for, but if it's just for MW2 Lobbies like most people, then I would update.
I personally updated also because I have a 15th hacked account, and I wasn't banned like the other...I think 80% were. Taking the chance and staying at 3.55 just wasn't worth it.
Sorry I mixed up everything up. You should be fine for now as long as you don't play on a Hacked account :embarrassed:

Yeah, Just saw that come down today too. I did the forced netflix update.
When launching netflix, it gives a message about must update to 3.56 to use.
So i used the 3.56 spoof, now the update to 3.56 doesn't pop-up but an error code shows up and netflix kicks back to xmb.
I was reading on a different board, and the work around is to uninstall the new update, re-download the old version which is still installed by default as of today and FTP into the ps3 and find some file where you can edit the .sfo file and spoof the old netflix software to 2.01 back.
I haven't tried this yet as I'm not entirely sure what a .sfo file editor looks like, but i'm assuming its easy enough and some nice person is gonna make a tutorial for the rest of us.
