UPDATE:

After some experimentation with Dragon Age II, some people have reported success in getting the game to run on 3.55 with a simple modification to the version string in the PARAM.SFO along with a repackaged EBOOT.BIN

1. Edit your Param.sfo to 3.5000 and replace it under /PS3_GAME/

2. Copy EP0177-BLUS30645_00-0000111122223333.pkg to USB Media

3. Install EP0177-BLUS30645_00-0000111122223333.pkg from "Install Package Files".

4. Boot game like normal, ENJOY!

The eu version needs 3.56.
I just used the eboot from the US version and it worked fine.

Correct me if im wrong but surely if fukpsn can bypass 3.56 and get online with psn surely it can easily bypass a game update aswell no ?

it is on the disk. for people that dont have internet it has to be on the disk. just like 3.55 was on the disk when upgrade from previous versions.

by updating. the update is implemented on the disk for people like u Winky Winky

I think we should crack the disc, and put 3.55 on it. Awesome face

But.. That won't be happening any time soon.

they did this before on 3.42 firmware but it never worked
