Ok, here is a tip for you. Call sony and they will ask u for the code on the back of your ps3. Use your mates code (MUST be a slim code). Once your done giving them the code they well send u a slim ps3. Hand over your old ps3 to the guy that delivers it to you. He will not know anything but that hes only there to pick up a ps3 and give you one back. I have did this a number of times it works fine help make this sticky its real good help.
