GameStop has started selling Modded PlayStation 3 , they contain extra HDD space, skins and HDMI. According to Sony's contract, sellers do not have any rights to change any content inside the box. This will most likely be met by a lawsuit from Sony.
Modded means it's been configured, most likely internally (just because of some posts.. -.-) But anyway, Sony will probably meet this with a lawsuit yes, unless Sony wanted GameStop to do this, which is always a option..
all gamestop has done is put a bigger harddrive which to me sayes "modded" not "hacked" ... the title is right but the only way sony will allow the sell of CFW PS3's is if they lose the case against George Hotz and someone comes to them and proves a profitable market for hacked PS3's
