but those asssholes sent me a 3.60 ps3 lol wtf is that?!?!?
heres what i did.

1. called sony and told them my xmb screen is lagging and takes like 2 minutes for the game to start up!
2. they will walk you threw recovery mode and they will make you wipe your files.(i just told the guy i was doing it :p )
3. call back the next day and tell the new person that ever since youve done that, your ps3 has been way worse.
4.theyll be like well you will have to send your ps3 in for repair.. say no i just want a new ps3. this is stupid. i paid all this money and everything else. theyll transfer you to a manager and he says fine haha

Stupid, fake, and gay. Sony WILL NOT automatically randomly give you a new console because something's wrong with yours. One or two things will happen...If it's under warranty, you MAIL IT TO THEM. If it's not, they'll ASK you to pay them that $170 fee or how much ever it costs, and then ship it back in. If you can't pay that, then you're ****ed, and they'll tell you to go buy another one, and there's nothing else they can do for you, UNLESS YOU PAY THEM THE $170. So. GTFO with this lying, stupid, pointless thread.

***Before I even TRY to get flamed, allow me to say, yes. this has happened to me. My PS3 is 2-ish years old, and when that happened, luckily, I was under warranty. They sent me a box via UPS, and sent it to them for a couple of weeks, then it was sent back to me. It ****ed up a while ago, sometime after Blops came out, and I called them, and all they could tell me over and over and over again was to pay them $170 (somewhere around that price) to fix it for me...So no. I agree with everyone else. I highly doubt Sony sent you a free PS3. A manager would not just cave in and give you a new PS3 for free.
