(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I installed the New Open Manager V2 J for 3.55.. and It gave me a stupid corrupted Icon that i can not delete. I have tried using Blackbox FTP on the PS3 and then using Filezilla to try and delete the corrupted backup manager from hdd0/Game/Delete_097978558<== Thats the corrupted folder... It doesnt delete using FTP or using the XMB delete feature.

If you have a way to delete it without restoring firmware or formatting the hard drive id really appreciate it. +rep

BTW: Im on CFW 3.55 KMEAW.

Get your PS3 into the recovery menu then do restore file system, then get into recovery menu again and do rebuild database.

It will then be on the XMB as a corrupted icon that you can delete.. if not try deleting it over FTP.

It worked for me.

I renamed the folder to something I knew was in a .PKG and overwrite it.
Then delete the campstain.
