The manager of You must login or register to view this content. is good friends with someone who was participating in a closed SCEA meeting about the new title Warhawk 2, and yes, it is in development. Here is a leaked list of features that will be in the game:

- The game will feature a story mode.
- The game will support Co-op.
- Initially the game will support 32 players on the network
- Multi-player will feature 25 maps.
- The game will feature military vehicles such as tanks, motorcycles, air-crafts and other vehicles.
- You can build bunkers for your self but are subject to destruction by enemies.
- Improvements on the combat system and camera angles.
- The graphics are better than the previous Warhawk.

The game has no specific release date, but it will be a Playstation 3 exclusive in the year of 2012.

motorcycles !! :O It was so funny getting in one of the jeeps with your friends but if you can get someone one the back of the motorbike will be funny lol. I can see there being unranked games with motorbike races just like the jeeps lol.

I remember how awesome warhawk 1 was and that was purely multiplayer, been waiting for this for a loooong time, let's hope for another epic game : D
