I have A ps3 slim thats not working annymore. The HDD is broken for some reason. I have a other HDD its just a 40 GIG. When i put the hdd in the ps3 i get an screen that says that the system software is currupt and that i need to press the ps butten on my controller to restart.
It also says that when the problem is not solved by restarting the system i need to do the system update by using a flash drive.
I have downlaoded the firmware 3.60 put in in a map PS3/UPDATE and when i want to update the ps3 by pressing select and start i get an error. (data is corrupt 8002F2C5).
What can i do to fix this problem??
please help.

go into recovery mode to install 3.60
