'Single-player only' gaming is rare in the Playstation AND Xbox business, but with the Playstation, God of War I, II, and III are one of the most loved games of all time.

In recent news, Sony Computer Entertainment America Santa Monica is currently hiring a senior online programmer to join the God of War team to help with in-game communication, client-server, matchmaking, and leaderboards.

So rumor has it that SCEA Santa Monica is working on a multi-player based God of War in the future (hopefully keeping a single-player story mode in there).

I think GOW multiplayer would work. It worked for the Uncharted series. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

I don't see GOW being Multi... but it would be pretty cool, you could be Kratos (DerrP), Zeus, Athena, The Barbarian, Madusa(Spell Check), and maybe like a Minotaur or something like that idk lol anyone see those being some of the charcters that are playable, or maybe even different campaigns; like Zeus' point-of-view of what happened when Kratos attacked the gods, or Athena's point-of-view.

All i have 2 say is i hope the designers plan this out very well because u will need some epic stuff if u think they can top the storyline of the GOW series with it's jaw-dropping single-player experience

God of war is such an amazing game i doubt they would change it up after 3 amazing games, why change something thats not broke

I was watching the BONUS ROUND and Jade Ramon Ramon from ubisoft and the Assasins Creed Series tells John Height from SCEA & GOD OF War how his game would be a great cross over for MP and he tells her "WELL YEAH, CAN'T COMMENT ON THAT" so this is indeed where there headed. Don't quote me on the exact words he used but something to that effect if you want to watch the video here it is.

I love this game more if it's only for singleplayer. But who cares multiplayer wil be a good feature for the next god of war :y:
