it's really akward during my gameplay anybody know of any household item that would loosen it up, please do not bombard me with suggestions of taking apart my controller. Just a simple household item that may fix my problem.

i have this problem too but with my 360 controller, anyways, i took it apart and cleaned the thumbstick cube with rubbing alcohol but it didnt help. I have an idea of using those lubes in the compressed air can. i think that might be powerful enough to get the thumbstick loosened up

viper is correct i had your problem so i used that wd40 stuff (just a little) and kept wiggling it it work it in and around and mine if anything is now smoother than new!!
