My ps3 60 gb will turn on but nothing will ever come up on the screen. I have tried everything and nothing works. Please help
Check the thread, how to take care of your PS3.
read it all, see if anything helps.
But try vacuuming the fans and stuff to get the dust out, Dont put the vacuum to close to the fans and stuff though, Roughly 5cm away from them.
How am I suppose to do this if nothing will pop up on the screen?
Sorry mate not ignoring you i am in uk and work strange shifts sorry! Right when you get the lv2 diagnostic tool and your ofw version (whatever you were on) on the usb all you do is power up the ps3. You do not have to do anything else or have to see it the install happens automatically (can take about 10 mins though) This will put you back onto the ofw you were on and installs the diagnostic tool which then automatically puts you onto the recovery mode. If it is the ps3 and it is your files that are corrupt this will rebuild them. I cannot think of anything else that it can be if it was working and has now stopped and all of the wires are in.
Firstly try this this is for the black screen of death fix.
Just out of curiosity you haven't moved it from one tv to another recently and then it stops working? Cuz if so i know what problem is!
