Good post but i think id be a bit over whelmed if i had the YLOD on my ps3 id just break my ps3 with a sledgehammer lol

Hi mate do you mind if i link this into my thread for fixing YLOD? There has been numerous other people contribute for any other problems people get when you get ylod and i just want to keep it up to date!

Note, this will only work for the newer slim models. The original PS3s like i have you need to open up to get the disc out. The same goes for the fan test, it doesnt exist for the fat 60GB models.
