Ps3 is sold with the option FREE online gameplay

somewhere over in ireland a man bought a Ps3 at a strore cuz it had the abilty for OtherOS so he updated it and saw that OtherOS was removed , he got back to the store and got $100 as a comparison ( dont know the site where i found it anymore )


if they make PSN paid then almost all people owning a Ps3 and have a Brain will stand up and Sony will make a HUGE loss !

another thing : Free PSN is the thing that made Ps3 big if they remove it sony will go down

He is totally right. If ps3 becomes paid me and mostly every one 1,i presume will give their ps3 back and get an xbox...

Do remember the quality of the service will change *if* they opt to charge for online. The money they get will generate the money for new features and MUCH better servers. Both consoles has it's ups and downs, and i can see this thread turning into a console war. I bought the Playstation for Three reasons:

1) Free online (i would pay if it were compulsory, but it isn't)

2) Blu-ray, why spend the money on an xbox + live and buy a blu-ray player?

3) My closer freinds have the playstation and very few close freinds have an xbox.

That's my input!

Oh wait better off go back to Play Station 1 and play some Duke Nukem!!!!
